"Thanks. I know. I missed you too. But I had to. I need to go get something from my ship, and I have a living arrangement to check on--sorta...Can I maybe stay there just til I can get things straightened out?"
Hannah nodded, chuckling. "Stay as long or as short as you'd like, bro. Just... you can't tell anyone where it is, alright? Not even someone you trust with it. Top secret." She smiled, then turned to Clay. "Go get that scrap you were carrying. We're headed back soon."
Clay nodded quickly, turning and running back in the direction they had come from. He was well built, for someone his age, and in shape, so it took him almost no effort.

Ty nodded, "Gotcha," he answered. "I won't tell a soul." Well, one'll find out from me, but I won't exactly TELL him... "I'll be right back," he said before heading back to his ship. He put Guraff in his head and let the Yeerk figure everything out on the way back to Hannah. "Okay, all set." He looked over at Clay, finding it hard to believe she had a son.
<Get used to it, Ty. A lot of your friends probably have children by now.>
"I know..."
<Ty...you can't talk to me out loud. They'll find it weird.>
"Damn...." <OH, right....>
<Good job...>

"Okay, all set."
Hannah smiled as he walked back out, Clay coming up with his pile of stuff. She couldn't believe she had her old friend back, after so long. Maybe things were looking up for her, after all.
"I know... Damn...."
Well, that... was weird. The woman cocked a brow, looking Ty up and down. Had so much time in space messed with his brain. "Uh... Fish?" she said, glancing over at her son, who glanced back. "Ty, who are you talking to?"

Ty sighed. He was in it now. "Look...I've....changed over the past 20 years. When I left...I ran into an old rival. Guraff 427. We'd damn near killed each other on countless occasions." He paused.
"He had just left the Empire. Just...walked away from it. So...we jacked a Bug fighter, and went off on a 20 year fighting spree, upgrading the ship as we saw fit."
He looked around, not sure how she'd feel about this next part. "Well, a few weeks ago, we were on this green sanded, red-skied desert planet where the species live underground. The Nyoork homeworld. We were ambushed. Eight of them, six feet tall insectoids. Seer was fatally wounded. I acquired the Hork-Bajir and saved Guraff the only way I knew how. That's who I was talking to."

Hannah's reaction must have seemed, well... anticlimactic, to him.
She shrugged. "Alright," she said. "Awesome. Just, I hope he says a kandrona or something set up. We, uh... sorta drained the old Yeerk pool." Hannah chuckled nervously, winking at him.
Hannah had never hated Yeerks, not really. She couldn't bring herself to have really strong feelings of hate towards anything. It was just Yeerks that threatened her she didn't like, and this Yeerk didn't seem like it was going to try and hurt her any time soon, so she wasn't going to be angry about its presence.
"We actually have a few Controller members in the Almaut. They could keep him company, I guess."

"Yeah, there's one in the ship," he answered. He was surprised at her lack of...well, surprise. Then he remembered, it was Hannah. "Nah, he doesn't need company. I just thought it'd be something you oughta know."
"So, anything you can tell me about my other friends? Like...uh...that...dark blue three eyed Andalite guy?"
<Tyrelinn.>
"Yeah, Tyrelinn. What happened to him?"

There was what she was waiting for, she supposed. "He's the leader and founder of the Almaut," she said, smiling. "Best damn soldier, too." Hannah chuckled, glanced back at her son, then up at the sky.
"We really should get going. Brotherhood sends a patrol near here in about... I dunno, half an hour or so. I never was good at reading time by the sun."
