Ty sat in the small ship; it was a big downgrade from the last one, but it didn't have to be all that big anymore. Just enough space for him, and a small Yeerk Pool. Guraff was feeding right now, and he'd come back for him later. Seer had been fatally wounded during his and Guraff's 20 year trip across the universe. It happened just a few weeks ago, and Ty'd become a voluntary controller just to save the life of his now friend. Of course, Ty still got control most of the time.
He slowed down as he entered Earth's atmosphere. He had no idea what to expect. He'd heard rumors, but didn't know how much of it was true. "Only one way to find out," he muttered. The ship landed and he stepped out onto the forest floor, looking around. "God, it's been too long..."

Hannah was out with Clayton, gathering scrap and wood, whatever might be useful at the base. A few other agents were out grocery shopping. It sounded pretty mundane, but if you were Almaut, there was a slim chance someone would know it and would try and have you arrested. Hannah sighed, bending down to pick up a small, fallen branch. She placed it on to the growing pile her son was carrying.
"God, it's been too long..."
She looked up, upon hearing that. She recognized the voice, somewhat, and the last time she'd recognized a voice that wasn't Almaut... Still, both she and her son could morph, if they were in any danger.
"Who's there!?" The woman called, looking this way and that for the source of the voice. Clay cocked a brow, but remained silent.

Ty jumped, ready to morph if need be. He pondered going for Guraff, but figured he'd let the old Yeerk feed. He walked towards the voice. It sounded...familiar, he thought. He didn't know. He'd been away so long all human voices probably sounded the same. "Ty Smith," he said boldly. "I lived here 20 years ago, but went on a little....space trip. I don't want any trouble. Just wanna see how much the world has changed." He kept walking, his mind ready to morph into the Kodiak bear, just in case. "Might I ask who you are?"

"Ty Smith. I lived here 20 years ago, but went on a little....space trip. I don't want any trouble. Just wanna see how much the world has changed. Might I ask who you are?"
Hannah's face lit up, and suddenly she was fifteen years old again. "Fish?" she said, voice cracking. She couldn't help herself; she ran in his direction, and pulled him into a tight hug. "Fishy! I missed you!"
Clay's eyes widened, and he dropped his pile of scrap and ran after his mother. "What the heck, mom?!" the boy said, more then a little bit worried for her. He'd never seen her act like this around anyone.

Ty jumped. Only one person ever called him "Fishy." He smiled as a woman came from practically nowhere. He hugged her back. "Hannah! Good to see ya' again! How ya been?"
"What the heck, mom?!" Ty pulled back and his eyes widened. "Holyfuck! You have a kid?!?"

"Hannah! Good to see ya' again! How ya been?"
Hannah grinned, shrugging. "I've been better, but I'm so glad to see you again. I thought you'd died or something."
"Holyfuck! You have a kid?!?"
Both of her brows raised. She'd never heard him say "fuck" before. Other then that, though, she didn't really mind what he'd said. "Yeah," she said, laughing. She stepped back a bit, putting an arm around Clay. Clay's eyes narrowed a bit. "Ty, this is my son, Clayton Alexander Wolfblood."
Clay tipped his hat. "Nice to meet you."

Ty nodded, not having much trouble guessing who the father was. "Nice meetin' you, too," he said, flashing his insane grin. Then, he got serious. "So...Hannah. I've heard rumors about how this place has changed. Has earth really gone to Hell since I left?"

"So...Hannah. I've heard rumors about how this place has changed. Has earth really gone to Hell since I left?"
Hannah frowned, but nodded. "David's gained power over everything, Ty. And he's not doing a very good job of leading, either. Yeah, he's charismatic and lies about everything, so everyone thinks he's doing well, but he's not." She shuddered. "Half the damn city is destroyed because of him, and it happened to be the half we mainly hung around.
"There's resistances, though." She smiled somewhat at that, tilting her head slightly. "I'm the Second in Command of the biggest one, the Almaut."

Ty listened, his face dark. "So....everything's true....Not exactly what I wanted to hear." Maybe Cass is still alive. Though I doubt she'd waited this long for me. She's prolly happily married and has more kids by now....
"Second, huh? So I take it Alex came around, and you're leadin' the rebels side by side, eh?" He flashed a grin.

"Second, huh? So I take it Alex came around, and you're leadin' the rebels side by side, eh?"
Hannah frowned deeper, glancing at her feet and swallowing as a burst of pain went through her. She wasn't sure how she was going to explain the past thirteen years to him without upsetting Clay. "That's, um... no, not exactly..."
Clay's eyes narrowed in slight anger and he licked his lips, moving closer to his mom in some sort of attempt to protect her. He didn't like her to be upset.

"Oh," he said, realizing he'd messed up. "I'm so sorry. I know, I screwed up." He noticed Clay being protective. "Look...I didn't mean to, I just assumed....." He sighed. "And totally made an ass of myself." Geez...I'm never leaving for twenty years again.

Hannah shook her head back and forth. "No, no!" she said, trying to comfort him. "It's fine, Ty. You didn't know. Alex just... he left me, while I was pregnant. And then he became David's second." The woman sighed, shrugging her shoulders and looking up to the sky. She sniffed, wiping her eyes dry again with her shirt sleeve. "You didn't know, so I'm not angry at you for thinking that. I mean... being David's second doesn't really seem like him at all, does it?"

"Oh....well, still..." Ty murmured. He couldn't believe it. "Oh, second, huh?" That's my fault for killing the first second... "I'm sorry. It doesn't strike me as very Alex, but I guess I got no room to talk..."

Hannah pulled him into a tight hug. "Don't feel sorry about anything, brosicle," she murmured. "I'm just glad you're back. Everyone really missed you." The woman grinned and pulled back, winking at him. "If you need a place to stay, y'know, we can offer you somewhere in the compound. I'm sure we have at least one free room."
Clay cocked a brow, wondering if that was the best idea. But he never questioned his mother, not out loud at least, so he didn't say anything about the matter.

He hugged her back. "Thanks. I know. I missed you too. But I had to. I need to go get something from my ship, and I have a living arrangement to check on--sorta...Can I maybe stay there just til I can get things straightened out?"
