Rabnak-Raefor-Manore was barely awake, barely alive in that cell. But the two voices were still there, whispering to her in her head. They were always there. They'd always BEEN there. She couldn't even remember anymore if they had ever not been there.
~Rabnak...~ The first one was female. It was cold, chilling... sent shivers down her spine.
{Rabby... come on, get up.} And this, the second was male. A young, teenaged male, from the sounds, and it sounded like it was trying to comfort her.
And then... it all came back in a rush. Tyrelinn, her child... Ilsagoth, Ayame's child... and the voices. Two old enemies inside of her head turned friends.
<Ayame.... Shmee?>
~There we are.~
{There's our girl!}
<What... what's going on?>
{You've been out for... a while.}
Rabnak frowned with her eyes, her stalkeyes swiveling back and forth.

Chamberlain and his unit marched into small cave system near the base of the mountains the revenant used. They had dozens, maybe even hundreds of them. Even he did not know about them all, but most contained supplies, ammo and weapons and several were well equipped to hold prisoners and would be joiners while they were processed.
The sytem was not bad, the cell was comfortable, while not stylish, and designed for humans, hork-bajir and other such creatures, not andalite. After all, there were only a few andalite's in he brohterhood and while there were not uncommen in the Revenant, they were still pretty rare. The Andalite government might supply the revenant with much needed armaments and industrial equipment, but they did not send their own soldiers to join in such a "petty squabble" so the Revenant just got individuals who wished to join in the fight for the world that had ended the yeerk empire.
he had made a pick-up of such, his men picking up several craft with fabricators capable of producing almost anything small enough. They would be distributed to caves deeper int he mountains, where they would most likely be used to make more small arms and explosives for Chamberlain to use.
The cave system itself was rather extensive, with the prisoner being held in one of the out most caverns. It had a small contingent stationed there, barely a dozen men, but it was extremely well suited to its purpose. The cave system was labyrinthine, and every single soldier stationed there knew the caves by heart, every place for an ambush, and every exit, so they could easily hold of a force several times their size, and escape if the odds went against them.
Chamblerlain's men guided the hover-sleds carrying the fabbers into the caves. They would stay the night before beginning their serious trek into the mountains. Chamerlain took he opportunity to inspect the base, and as usual found it in tip top shape. only the most dedicated were soldiers, while the rest worked up in the mountains producing the weapons, supplying the military, and forming a militia if needed.
Chamberlain walked through the "cells" inspecting them. The majority were filled with would be joiners, and they, while basic, still had all necessities to keep their occupants semi-comfortable for their stay. They only had a pair of people in them, one human and one andalite. The human had just been cleared to join the Revenant, and he would leave with Chamberlains men.
The other cell had an andalite in it, and this one was an unknown. She had been found unconscious by a patrol at the base of the mountains, and taken back here. The wound had been cared for, and now they were waiting for the alien to wake up. Chamberlain stepped into the cell, noticing the andalite stirring. "Wake up." he said, waiting wary but not worried.

"Wake up."
Rabnak's main eyes snapped open, revealing the poison-green color they were. Ayame and Shmee began to talk louder, commenting, arguing with each other, saying things about this before her. She winced and stood, backing away from the front of the cell.
<Who... who are you? W-where am I?> the Andalite whispered, her voice old and worn. There was a stutter to it, as if she was unused to speaking. It was, perhaps, more maternal then it had been before now... but she'd still never gotten to know her children. Correction; her child. The other was Ayame's.
She blinked twice, shaking her head in confusion. She couldn't remember how she'd gotten there, and... her head hurt, but it wasn't from the arguing going on in it. Why did her head hurt? <Why does my head hurt?>

"Where you are" Chamberlain said "I cannot tell you. However we are working to identify you and it would help us quite a bit if you would give us your name."
"Why you are here or why you were knocked out is beyond us. We don't know why, we just found you, brought you back here and fixed your head. Beyond that we have no clue what happened to you other than blunt trauma to the head. "

Rabnak frowned with her eyes, backing up a bit more and hesitating. She didn't know if the police would still have a file on her for Ayame's deeds... she had disappeared to them over twenty years before... she'd risk it. And if they found out she was marked as a serial killer, she would tell them of her "companions".
<My name is Rabnak-Raefor-Manore.>

"Well then" Chamberlain said. "That will help us. We wil have to send it to the andalite's to identify" He said the second part out loud, knowing that the pair of soldiers on security would hear.
"However we cannot contact the andalite from here so it will take awhile. We will contact HQ and have them send a query to the andalites. Until then, please make yourself comfortable, you shoul have all the necessities you need in here and any that you are missing just let the guard know. Unfortunately we are lacking in luxuries but we are fighting a war" Chamberlain shrugged with his apology.

Rabnak shuddered as the screams of the voices in her head grew louder. They were in a really heated discussion with each other about... something. Probably about who's turn it was on the outside.
<Sir, I don't think that-->
~YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOOD FOR HER, SHMEE.~[/i]
Rabnak swallowed. Hush in there... you're going to blow it.
<I've been trying to get back to my home for eighteen years. Can you not... drug me? Knock me unconscious? And then maybe place me near the city? What importance to you is it who I am? And you never told me who YOU were.>

"Well first of all we keep a list of missing family and friends of our members. Most of them are lost causes, long dead or stuck under the Brotherhood government, but every once and a while we have people show up and find family that they thought long dead, or people with amnesia can find old friends from their past life. "
"And no I haven't told you my name" Chamberlain said, not going further. That was the part that bugged him the most. Anyone who hadn't been living under a rock should recognise him. Tot he Revenant he was a war hero, to the Brotherhood, he was the second most wanted man alive, only after General Cole, the leader of the Revenant. Either way, he should have been recognized. The fact that he had not instantly alarmed him. She could be a brotherhood spy, but she would have to be a bad one to have so obvious a gap in her cover.
"So where exactly have youy been the last 18 years?"

<I've... wandered.>
Rabnak let out a sigh. <I had to give up my two twins to my brother, who had stranded me here, and to an old friend humans called Iggy. I was in space for a while, and then I came back here to find my mate, but I've had trouble getting back... I wasn't sure what was going on around Earth, or if it was safe for me to be in public, so I avoided cities, mostly. And just when I thought I was almost there... I ended up here.>

"Uh huh" Chamberlain said, listening. He did not know what to make of the story, so simply listened. It sounded like a made up story, so out of what the Andalite was either lying or had hit her head harder than the soldier who had found her had thought. she could have just been like this before chamberlain reminded him. Lastly, she could be telling the truth.
"That's quite a story there"

Rabnak frowned, sensing the doubt. <I can tell you don't believe me, so... I'll just drop it. Do your background checks, whatever you like. If I don't have Tyrelinn it doesn't really matter what happens...>

"Alright" Chamberlain said, then turned and left. He would have to run a search for a Tyrelinn, as well as Rabnak. He wanted to see exactly who this andalite was and why she was here.

Rabnak sighed and lay down, resting her hands in front of her and curling her tail about her. This was going to be a long stay...
