One big Happy Reunion (Rabnak, Jae, Raylor)

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

It was early in the morning. The sun was still rising and the moon was still visible. Tyrelinn was restless again, as he was every now and then. But, this was the first time he had felt this way since meeting Jae. The child was still in the cave asleep, as Tyrelinn walked around just outside the scoop, feeding.

His main eyes dreamily looked ahead as his stalk eye focused up at the sky. His thoughts went back to Rabnak. He still missed her, so much. His daughter helped to ease his pain, but there were times, like today when it was too great to bare. A tear rolled down his face as his head and stalk eye drooped, looking at the ground.

[Rabnak-Raefor-Manore]

<Raylor?> the female called, walking through the forest. Her head turned this way and that, searching for her son. He had woken up before her, and now she was looking for him, to make sure he was okay. She had a tinge of worry. Motherhood was something she was unused to, and though it felt warm and good... it could be unpleasent when she didn't know where her child was.

That's when Rabnak spotted him. A male of her species. She wasn't paying attention, so she didn't recognize him at first. With the light in her eyes, she couldn't really see his coloring. She bowed her head. <I am sorry for intruding,> she said, smiling. <I hope I did not interrupt a ritual.> She looked up at him. And that's when she recognized him.

The navy blue fur. The one eyestalk. The black tailblade.

A shockwave went through her body, and she took a step back. Her large, poison green eyes widened and she raised a shaking hand to her own face, placing it on the rip across it. She felt Ayame and Shmee stir again, whispering amongst themselves. <...Tyrelinn?>

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

<...Tyrelinn?>

He heard the voice, but at first thought it was just his imagination, as it always had been over the last 18 years.Then, his stalk eye saw something that caused his entire head to look up, his pale limegreen eyes widening. He couldn't believe what he saw at first.

The scar, those poison green eyes. He just stared at first, then rushed over to meet her. <...R-Rabby? You're.....Alive....I...> He just looked at her as tears of joy ran down his face, still thinking that this was somehow a very convincing dream...

[Rabnak-Raefor-Manore]

Rabnak froze for a moment, stiffening, then clung to him in a tight hug, sobbing. <So long... too long... I...> Tears rolled down her face, her voice choked with emotion. <I thought I'd lost you, Tyrel...>

Her shared mind raced. She now had her son and her mate back. She didn't deserve this sort of happiness. Still, she smiled and lay her head against Tyrelinn's chest, closing her eyes. Another sob came from her. <I thought I'd lost you for good...>

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

He too started crying as he wrapped his arms around her. <I thought...I'd lost you, too....> He wiped a tear from her face. He felt so happy now. He had a daughter, and now, she could have a mother.

He smiled, stroking Rabby's cheek as she lay her head on his chest. <It's so good to have you back...>

[Rabnak-Raefor-Manore]

Rabnak stayed there for a moment, filled with bliss. She had been searching for so long, and now... she had finally found him. Words could not describe her feelings. But then... she had to tell him about their son. Raylor could not be kept a secret any longer.

<There's... there's something I have to tell you,> she said, pulling away. <There is someone you need to meet.>

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

<There...there is?> Tyrelinn asked, cocking his head to the side a little. He wondered who it could be, and why he had to meet whoever it was. Then, he remembered something and smiled. <Love, I have someone for you to meet, too.> Then, he gently called out, <Jae, wake up, dear. Come out here. I want you to meet someone.>

[Jaealimi Vegath Iroth]

Jae stirred a little from her sound sleep and stretched, yawning a bit as she opened her eyes. She could see Tyrel outside and he seemed to be holding someone's hand, but she couldn't see the person. She stood, rubbing her eyes a little as she walked out. She looked up as she noticed Rabnak and she paused. It took a second, but she recognized the female from Tyrel's descriptions. Her eyes brightened and smiled as she ran over, hopping a little with eagerness.
<It's Rabbie!! RABBIE!>
She giggled and wrapped her arms around Rabnak's waist, snuggling into her. What she said next was gentle and loving.
<It's mommy.>

[Raylor-Tyress-Estlinn]

Raylor had decided to leave the ship early to explore. He hadn't thought about leaving his mom sleeping alone on the ship. It just wasn't a habit for him to think of others.

He was feeding while he explored, acquiring some random animals and obtaining a human morph. Then, he reached a different area of the forest, and saw three Andalites. A male with one stalk eye, navy blue fur and a black tail blade, and a child, female, both were with, his MOM???

He stepped forward, eyeing the three of them. <Mom? Care to explain?> he said privately.

[Rabnak-Raefor-Manore]

Rabnak was, needless to say, stunned when a random child ran up to her and called her "mommy". She stood, shocked, until Raylor arrived. She sighed. Now or never.

<Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith,> she said out loud, looking over to her mate. <Meet Raylor-Tyress-Estlinn.> She blinked and looked towards the ground. <Your son.>

She turned her attention back to the female child. <Who is this?> The scarred Andalite smiled warmly at the girl.

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

<My son...> he repeated. <I...have a son...Wow....> he said in awe. <Raylor-Tyress-Estlinn, I am Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith. Your father.>

Raylor nodded, taking in the rest of the scene.

Tyrelinn turned back to Rabby. <Love, this is Jaealimi-Vegath-Iroth. Our daughter.> Privately he explained, <Her ship crashed here not long ago. She was orphaned, and I adopted her.>

[Rabnak-Raefor-Manore]

<Oh...> Rabnak was not quite enthusiastic about it... but this child needed a home. She smiled at Jae. <Such a pretty name...>

And she was back with Tyrel, now. That was something she had longed for for many years, and now... but she realized she would have to explain to him what had happened. And she didn't even know where Ilsagoth was, nor his son.

~Ilsagoth...~ Ayame murmured in Rabnak's mind, a twinge of loss in her voice. Rabnak wanted to comfort the person in her head, but... Raylor did not know about Ayame; he would notice if she got distracted by the voice's thoughts. She did not know how he would react if he knew about his mother's multiple personalities... so she wanted to keep him from knowing.

[Jaealimi Vegath Iroth]

Jae looked up and smiled brightly as Rabnak smiled too, then looked over as Raylor approached. She smiled and waved to him, then looked up at Rabnak, beaming as her name was complimented. She looked over at Raylor as he was introduced as Tyrel's son and her eyes sparkled giddily.
<Brother!>
She giggled and hopped a little, running over to Raylor and hugging him tightly. She didn't care that he might find this odd, she was just happy that she had a whole family again and even had a big brother.

[Raylor-Tyress-Estlinn]

Raylor had no idea how to respond. Meeting his father, he could handle. When the child, his sister, ran up to him and hugged him, he felt more than just a little awkward.

He looked down and smiled, awkwardly returning the hug. His gold tail-blade glinted in the light of the rising sun.

<Uh...> he stuttered nervously, unsure of what to say. What he was feeling wasn't bad, he just wasn't used to it. <...It is a pretty name....>

[Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith]

Tyrelinn noticed Rabby wasn't as enthusiastic as he'd hoped about Jae. <Don't worry dear,> he privately said, smiling. <She'll grow on you, trust me.> He laughed at Raylor's reaction, happy that Rabby was back, and that he had a son. They were one big happy family.
