Rabnak-Raefor-Manore could not believe she had been released. After they had discovered Ayame's killings, she could not think for one second they would have let her go. And yet they had.
She stood in the middle of the forest near the city, thinking things over. Maybe she could finally find Tyrel, and tell him... no, she couldn't tell him. He would want to find the children... or perhaps just his child. She did not know what he would think of Ilsagoth's. Sighing, the scarred Andalite raised her torn face to look to the sky, poison-green eyes shimmering with tears. Would she ever see her children again?
~Child,~ Ayame corrected her. Though she knew this was true, Rabnak couldn't help but feel both were her children. Her "companions", especially Shmee, seemed to be fading.
{But I'm still here, kid.}[/i] She couldn't help but smile when she heard him. He was still there for her.

Raylor stood on the ship, listening to yet another of Isogorith's lectures. The blond Andalite was barely paying attention. He knew his Mom was on earth. He wanted to see her, and that was all that mattered. Iggy's such a jerk....
It was just the two of them, and Raylor hated it. <...so, Raylor, do you now see why you can't go to earth. Promise me that you'll never go....>
<Yes, whatever. I won't go....>
<Good.> With that Iggy turned to go, in his age, accidentally bumping the controls for the airlock, and was sucked out of it, into the void of space.
<Go on without me, Raylor....and Promise not to go to Earth....> That was Iggy's last statement, as the old Andalite suffocated in space.
Raylor's heart pained for the loss of his Guardian, but took command of the ship.
Later, it touched down in a forest on earth, and Raylor stepped out, exploring the land. His stalk eyes scanned the area, as his blond fur and gold tail-blade glistened in the sunlight....

Rabnak's eyes locked on to the ship as it began to land, and she backed into the treeline, afraid of what might emerge. It was an Andalite ship. Perhaps the Revenant had called about her, after all? She frowned and watched as a blonde Andalite with a golden tailblade came out of the hatch. Familiar...
Could it be?
No, it was impossible.
But perhaps...
She shifted, hooves making a crunching noise and giving her position away. She just had to hope this was who she thought it was.

Raylor let out a heavy sigh. Iggy was gone, and he knew NOTHING about earth. <Now what?> he thought out loud. <My guardian accidentally gets shot out of an airlock, I'm wandering around a planet, trying to find my Mom, who may not even be alive....>
He kicked a rock with his hoof. <Raylor, coming to earth was definitely your best idea,> he grumbled....

Rabnak's eyes widened in shock as she took this in. Isogorith was dead? She mourned for a moment, bowing her head. But then she snapped back. Her son was alive.
<Raylor?> she whispered, walking forward. <Raylor-Tyress-Estlinn?> Her eyes lightened in a smile as she tilted her head to the side. She felt something stir in her... happiness. She had not felt it in too long.

Raylor jumped when he heard his name. His tail-blade whipped into position, ready for anything. He lowered his blade, and his eyes softened when she said his full name.
There was no doubting who this was. <Yes, that's me. M-Mom?> He stood there. He felt like he was dreaming. Could it really be?

Rabnak nodded, smile growing. Maybe she hadn't found Tyrelinn, but she had found her son, and they could finally be together. She took another step forward, back into the clearing, fully visible now. She seemed a bit... weaker then she had been long ago, and the scar was still there, but she moved without problems, and other then that seemed perfectly fine. She wanted to embrace her son, but hesitated, not knowing how he would react to the contact.

Raylor couldn't control his happiness. The joy of finally meeting his mom. He ran forward, throwing his arms around her, tears flowing. <Mom...I...it's so good to finally meet you. I've...heard a lot about you.> He let go and smiled.

Tears of joy flowed down Rabnak's face. She placed her hands on his shoulders as he pulled out of the embrace. <I had wondered for so long if I would ever see you,> she said, a feeling of warmth washing over her. <I am so happy we found eachother.>

He looked at her as she put her hands on his shoulders. <I have too. I've been trying to get here for the longest time, but....Isogorith never let me. In his last breath, he told me to promise not to come...>
He gave her a questioning glance. <Why didn't he want me here? What's going on that could be so bad? And...is...my father alive?>

<I have too. I've been trying to get here for the longest time, but....Isogorith never let me. In his last breath, he told me to promise not to come...>
Rabnak frowned. Iggy had not allowed him to come? Well, it was understandable, knowing what she now knew, and knowing about herself and Ayame's mates and how they would fight if they knew they had children... She glanced down, pondering.
<Why didn't he want me here? What's going on that could be so bad? And...is...my father alive?>
<There is... a war,> she said, deciding not to tell him about her and Ayame's warring mates just yet. <The government is corrupt, and there is a group... the Revenant... who is trying to stop them. The civilization is crumbling because of it, and it has become dangerous to live in large cities, where the Revenant often strike. Especially dangerous near this city... this is where the world's leader lives.>
She looked down again, sighing. <And... I am not sure if your father is alive. I've been separated from him for so long... but... I can somehow feel he is there. I just have to hope my feeling is correct.>

Raylor listened as his mother spoke. He cocked his head to the side, frowning a bit. <I understand. And...it seems when one threat is out of the way....another steps in...>
<So...there's a good chance he's still alive?> He smiled at this thought. <I trust your feelings, Mom. Even though we just met.> His eyes shone as he looked at her.

Rabnak's eyes shined back at her son, and she gave him a loving smile. <He used to live near here,> she said, eyes scanning the trees. <So I came here to search for him. When...> She frowned, corrected herself. <If I find him...> Her eyes sparkled. <I think I will feel... complete again.>

He smiled back. <I can help look, if you want.> He paused. <I'm sure he's fine, Mom. Can you tell me a little about him?> He stepped forward, wanting desperately to know about his father.
