She closed her eyes and just lay her head on Jamie's chest. That was a little comforting to hear, but not much. <I don't like mean aliens. They hurt nice people.> Her voice was quiet as she spoke. She closed her eyes and stroked Jamee's fur. She liked having gentle Andalite arms around her, they were comforting, telling her she wasn't alone on this planet.

<True,> Jamie replied. <So very true. And worse. The Hork-Bajir were peaceful tree-bark eaters, who led simple lives. The Yeerks turned them into weapons of war, slaves that are forced to fight and die for them.>

She closed her eyes and whined a little, clinging closer at that description. <No... no that's bad... I-I don't want bad...> She trembled as tears rolled down her cheeks. She wanted to be happy. She wanted to hear something happy. She looked up at Jamee, her eyes wide and sad. Why was this person saying so many things to make her sad?

<I am sorry,> she replied. <Then what would you like?> she asked compassionately. Jamie had no clue what to say; she was no good with children...

She closed her eyes and leaned into Jamee. <Anything... I just want to be happy.> She sniffled a little and just hugged her tightly. She was so terrified of something nobody had seen here for years.

Jamie held her close, Gasedion's thin but powerful arms holding the little Andalite girl close. She wished she could introduce the girl to something that would make her happy. She didn't know what, though. <Would you like some of my good memories?> she asked the girl. Gashedion had taught her a way of sharing memories.

She nodded quietly, something she'd picked up from Tyrel. She knew it meant yes, so sh used it here, here she wasn't sure she could speak. She looked up at Jamee, pure innocence in her eyes. She was just a poor lost child who didn't know where she was or what she could be doing here.

Those eyes, those soft Andalite eyes, really touched Jamie’s hearts, and Jamie raised a hand, placing it against her head. She began with the first happiest memories she could find...memories of so long ago. Memories of when she’d went to steal cookies from the cookie jar and had succeeded...memories of riding in a red wagon through the garden, as her father picked tomatoes, and eating them, making her face and hands red...memories of Rachel taking her shopping...her first morph, and flying in the hawk she’d morphed...the Hork-Bajir valley, with the Hork-Bajir at peace, such friendly, sweet creatures...
<I have more,> she said, gently severing the connection, so that Jae could soak this in...

She closed her eyes as she received the memories. Her sadness eased and a small smile came back to her eyes as she soaked them up. <It's... It's beautiful.> She opened her eyes and looked up at her. <You're not really a Hork Bajir are you? You're human?> She was a little awed at her.

The Hork-Bajir nothlit eye-smiled as her sadness began to dissipate. <Yes,> Jamie replied. <I’m very much a human. I got trapped in Hork-Bajir form while on the Hork-Bajir planet, quite some time ago. My name is actually Jamie Cemmelon, but I took on the Hork-Bajir-ish name, Jamee Cemlan. I was actually a part of a group that opposed the Yeerks. But these days, I don’t really consider myself to be of any specific race.>

She looked up, listening as Jamie explained what she was. She smiled brightly, then stepped back, morphing her human morph. She wasn't naked this time, she had a purple leotard on, one that Tyrel had bought for her. She looked up and smiled at Jamie. "I look like this as a human. Isn't it pretty?" She twirled a little, playing on the human's two legs. She hopped a little and giggled, looking up at her. "I like having two feet. It's fun."

She sure was different from other Andalites; it was fascinating, watching her play around on her two feet, giggling, and managing to smile with her human mouth. Jamie had demorphed to Hork-Bajir, and now leaned down beside her, smiling. "Yes; your human-form is adorable," she replied. She didn't want to morph to her own, though.

She grinned as Jamie agreed her human form was nice and she started to dance a little, something akin to ballet, but not quite there. She hummed randomly as she danced, just enjoying herself now. She giggled and reached up, taking Jamie's hands and trying to get her to dance too. She wanted to have fun and Jamie was the closest person around.

((OOC: Sorry about the delay. For some reason, RPs where chars are happy are...difficult)).
Jamie was glad that Jae didn't ask her to morph human; this was what she was. She leaned down, so that she could reach the little girl, and danced with her. Then, she got an idea. "How would you like to go for a ride?" she asked, indicating her back; she intended to take her through the trees - the ride of a lifetime, from the back of a Hork-Bajir.

She giggled as they danced, just enjoying her two feet. She looked up as Jamie offered to give her a ride. She grinned widely and nodded. "Yeah! What're you gonna do?" She hopped a little, excited at this. She was enjoying being around Jamie so far, so anything that could prolong the experience was a great idea to her.
