Tinem flew slowly past the asteroid belt in Earth's solar system, heading towards the planet. He spoke to the view screen, asking for a visual on the planet. He looked up with his main eyes and watched the apparently harmless little planet for a few moments, but his ship was rocked as something suddenly slammed into it, throwing him forward. He groaned and stood, examining the readouts. He slammed his fist on the panel in frustration. His shields had been down, allowing an asteroid to slam into his ship and cripple it. Now he was accelerating at a dangerous speed towards the planet. He would surely crash. He started signing furiously, sending a distress call to the Andalites. The computer beeped, indicating the message was sent. He ran to the escape hatch and waited as his ship entered the atmosphere of Earth. He kicked open the escape hatch and leaped out over the ocean. He fell for a few moments, then shifted quickly into a large white bird. He opened his wings and soared down into the water, demorphing just before he hit and remorphing into a large squid like creature before he could start sinking. He turned and started swimming in the direction he'd seen the closest land mass. One he'd learned was called 'North America'. He wasn't far away, he knew that. Especially at this creature's speed. It wasn't long before he started to see the botom of the ocean slope upwards towards shore. As the water became shallow, he morphed back to his normal form and peeked up over the water, relieved to see the beach appeared to be empty. He galloped quickly out of the water and ran for the cover of trees that were not far from the edge of the water. Once in their protective cover, he sighed a little and started exploring, first deciding to look for morphs to fit this planet.

Tyrelinn was walking down the beach, as he did nowadays. He and Ilsagoth were sort of at peace now, but Tyrelinn needed some time alone. He hadn't changed much in the past 20 years, his fur had just become a little less bold.
As he walked, his one stalk eye scanned the area. Upon reaching his favorite spot, he saw something darting into the trees. His nature getting the best of him, he took off running in the direction he had seen it go.
Upon reaching the area, he slowed, and approached carefully, his black tail blade ready, just in case. <Who's there?> he demanded.

Tinem spun in surprise as he heard a thought voice and raised his large, menacing tail blade. It was longer and sharper than most blades and was thus much more menacing. He saw the large male Andalite and his eyes narrowed a bit. He took a couple steps forward, noting the different fur color, but he didn't particularly care. He only hoped this Andalite knew the sign language of their people. If not, then he had to find a human morph fast. He started signing, hoping he understood. I am Tinem Shotenth Gonum. Do you understand me?

Tyrelinn nodded. <Yes, I understand you. I am Tyrelinn-Malenor-Gorith.> He noticed that this being seemed at least PART Andalite, but Tyrelinn kept his blade ready, and his three eyes trained on Tinem.
<Might I ask what exactly you are, why you're here, and why you sign instead of speaking?> He asked. Tyrelinn wasn't about to back down, but he hoped that he hadn't lost his talent for fighting to age if it came down to violence.

He sighed a little in relief as Tyrelinn confirmed he could understand sign language. He sighed again at the questions. Here goes the hard part. My father was Abramanus. I was sent here to evaluate the possibility of another Yeerk invasion. My ship was struck by an asteroid and I crashed. As for why I do not speak... that relates to my heritage. Because Abramanus seem genetically engineered to cause pain and terror, my thought voice causes all who hear it to break down in terror. I doubt even a Yeerk could resist it. He thought about mentioning his rank to this other Andalite, though he doubted it would do much. On this planet, he may as well be an Aristh.

Tyrelinn nodded. <Understood,> was all he said. The old Andalite thought a moment. <Yeerk invasion? Here? That's not likely. David has eyes all over the world. Trust me, Kid. I've been here since before you were born.>

He nodded a little and looked around, then back at him. I require morphs. Can you show me where I might acquire some? He took a few steps forward, lowering his tail blade in a show of peace. This was a fellow Andalite. He couldn't very well be fighting his own kind, could he? He did have a few questions about this man, but those could wait. He had priorities, and his first priority was blending in, reducing chance of danger.

Michelle had been sitting on the ground, star-gazing when something streaked across the telescope. She looked up and followed the path of the object, trying to mentally figure out its trajectory. She frowned mentally, realizing that it would land in the ocean, a ways off the coast. Still, that probably meant that any survivors would go for land. So, without alerting anyone, she started running off. David would be very pleased if she brought back something useful. Especially if it was a person. She came running along the coast and spotted two Andalites. "Who are you?" she snapped. "What are you doing here? In the name of Uncle David, I demand that you identify yourselves." She took out her gun.

Tyrelinn lowered his blade as well. <Yes, I kno-> At that point, Tyrelinn was cut off by a new voice. "Who are you? What are you doing here? In the name of Uncle David, I demand that you identify yourselves."
In a flash, Tyrelinn whirled around, his tail-blade at the woman's throat. <I've been here for 20 years!> Tyrelinn bellowed. <I don't care WHO you are, or WHO'S name you come in... The old Andalite's voice was stern and harsh. <Who are we, you ask? I think it's safe to speak for both of us when I say we are not the kind you want to piss off....Now I suggest you leave...>

Michelle didn't bat an eye. Instead, she pulled the trigger, the gun barking as the bullet flew into the Andalite's shoulder. "That was a warning. I suggest you identify yourself and remove your blade from my person before I decide to terminate you." She smiled.

Tyrelinn flinched a little, but this wasn't his first time being shot. He moved his tail-blade from her throat, but in a flash, he smacked her across the face with the flat of the blade, full force. He was old now, but his speed was still exceptional, especially for his age.
He morphed and demorphed just enough to heal. <That was MY warning. Raise that weapon at me again, and you'll find yourself learning to shoot without your right arm.>
He raised his blade again, watching....

Michelle staggered as the blade hit her in the face. Her body and hair flickered and became brown. Her eyes became hazel again. Her name-tag switched from Michelle to Nichole.
"Wha...what?" Nichole asked, putting a hand to her head, and especially her now-throbbing cheek. "Damn...I need to see if someone can fix that glitch." She looked at the two, as if seeing them for the first time. "Oh, um...hi..." she said, rubbing her jaw. "God, you have a really hard smack. Sorry about shooting you, by the way. It's sometimes hard...switching before she does something stupid."

Tyrelinn was shocked as this woman suddenly changed. Even her NAME TAG changed. Tyrelinn kept his blade in position, but his expression was stunned. All he could say was, <...the hell???>

Tinem stood silently as a human came out of nowhere and aimed a weapon at them. He narrowed his eyes and went to a fighting stance as Tyrel put his blade to her throat. He didn't flinch when the weapon fired, he was used to loud sounds, and watched as he slapped the woman with his blade. He stared as Michelle suddenly changed completely, becoming Nichole. He looked over at Tyrel, seeing he was completely stunned. So this wasn't some kind of common technology. That was interesting. He stepped forward a little and looked down at Nichole, using human sign language to try and speak to her. What are you?

Nichole looked up at him, suddenly realizing just how small she was...She smiled. She glanced down, realizing he was signing, but she didn't understand sign-language. "Not hell, but close," she said with a grin at the one Andalite. To the other...not-quite Andalite, but definitely a close relative, she said, "I'm sorry. I don't understand sign-language." She shook her head, then adding with a few motions, "Can you read lips?" She pointed to her eyes and lips while she said this. "I have a chip in my head. It sort of creates an...alternate personality complete with its own looks that allows me to literally become someone else. Sometimes I forget to take control when something is going on. And it has a few glitches."
