More about them
Characters Personality: Alex is very secretive and doesn't trust easily. However, if you do gain her trust, she's a loyal friend who would die willingly for those she cares about. She has an intense hatred for Yeerks, as her parents were turned into controllers and they almost got turned by them.
Alex hates large crowds, especially if they are people she doesn't know or trust, and prefers to be alone. She likes to take long walks in the wilderness, and only goes into the city for her job. Alex likes to roam around after-dark and can't stand being in the sun for vast quantities of time. She prefers to be around animals than other people.
It takes a lot to get Alex stressed or angry, but when she is, she tends to lash out at whatever is causing it. Normally, she avoids these situations.
Characters History: Alex was born in europe, but her parents moved to america when she was very young. Her father was a journalist and her mother was a zoo-ologist. Her parents split up when she was 9, and she grew up with her mother. Her father re-married and had a son, named Mathew.
Alex moved around a lot in her teens, as her mother moved from zoo to zoo. She didn't have the chance to have many friends, and soon stopped trying.
When the Yeerks began their 'infestation', her half-brother and father were turned into controllers quickly, with her mother turned a few months later. Her mother took her along to one of the Sharing meetings and tried to force her into becoming a controller too. Alex managed to escape, but this shook her trust and made her extremely suspicious of others.
She became an animorph just before David came to power and quickly went into hiding afterward. She still keeps her eyes open for news on the other animorphs, but mostly keeps her head down and pretends to be normal. Alex got a job as a delivery girl for a pizza place, and rents an apartment, where she practices her morphing.
Due to her constant moving, Alex has learned bits and pieces from french and spanish, but only enough to figure out what others are saying.
Alex doesn't really have friends, only acquaintances.
Characters Appearance: Alex is about 6ft. She's 9 stone and has an olive skin-tone. Her body structure is more athletic than anything else. She has black hair that reaches just passed her shoulder-blades, and light green eyes.

Alex crouched on the sky-blue carpet of her front room, sweat appearing on her brow. Her breath came out slightly laboured and her eyes were scrunched up in concentration.
"Come on! You turned into a falcon easy enough, this shouldn't be that hard!" She ranted, more at herself than anything. Rolling her shoulders to relieve some of the tension, she calmed her breathing and once again focused on her form. A picture formed in her mind; muscles moving below sleek, grey fur, razor-sharp fangs glinting in the moonlight, nails gripping the soft earth, and eyes that shined with dangerous intelligence.
Alex opened her eyes in fustration, feeling no change occuring, and prepared to call it a day when she looked down at her hands and stared. The back of her hands were covered in grey hairs and her fingers had shortened, nails becoming claws.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain as her back and shoulders began their transformation. Bones lengthened and popped out of place. Finally, it was complete and Alex padded over to the full-length mirror she had placed against the wall for this reason, and gazed in. Staring back at her was a large timber wolf. Seeing herself, Alex had the strangest urge to howl.
