Yeerk
Name: Indar 632
Rank/Nickname: Visser Five
Age: 84
Gender: None | Leans toward male
Birthday: Uncertain | He doesn't celebrate it anyway
Affiliation: None
Race: Yeerk {Andalite-Controller}
Colour: Grayish-Green
Appearance:
Indar is a medium-sized, grayish-green slug with no eyes, and speckles on his back. (I'm unable to hit the minimum due to that being about it, as far as Indar's concerned).
Personality:
The war has greatly changed Indar. He doesn't mind being "alone" anymore. Though, he continues to be a bit dreamy, and still to himself, though more approachable and less ruthless than the other Andalite-Controller, Esplin. Indar can be childish at times, but for the most part, has gotten over that. He still yearns to find a way for the Yeerks to either be at peace with their hosts, or to create new hosts. Though he is a Visser, he knows that he is only a pawn in the hands of the Yeerk Empire, which is so vast, and so paranoid, that its Emperor conceals his face from them. He tries to keep peace with his host, but Himuran despises him regardless.
History:
First host was a Gedd, second host a Hork-Bajir he was granted during the invasion of the Hork-Bajir planet. Thirdly, he took a Taxxon, his worst memories yet; he was one of the "pioneers" of this endeavour, and boy does he wish he wasn't, though he's learned from it. Afterwards, he was allowed a Hork-Bajir host, Kali Notur, but treated him badly, feeling a sort of Yeerk superiority over him. However, a Yeerk named Tarrit 634 met Indar, and the two Yeerks identified with one another. She taught him that, though it was inevitable that he and the rest of his race take hosts, and use them, that it made life much more enjoyable to become friends with your host, and treat them well, even give them some freedom. A simple creature like a Hork-Bajir was a good friend to have.
And so, he had made not one, not two, but three new friends: her, his host, and her host as well. He began to feel feelings that most Yeerks do not for her; his host shared the feelings for her host. The two would take cover at times away from their duties on the Pool Ship to touch each other's horns to their heads. During feeding, they would let their hosts eat, and they would feed together. Thankfully, no higher-up Yeerks saw this, and it continued.
Indar had a job he didn't like: holding Hork-Bajir while they were infested. It caused him to have nightmares when he rested, and he hoped that it would be over soon, and he would get a new job. However, his lover would comfort him, once more. Eventually, though, their tender caresses produced something within her: a Hork-Bajir child. She gave birth, and Indar got in front of her, taking all the blame. He was demoted, and it could have been worse, but the sub-visser, knowing how Indar felt, chose to be especially nasty, and took the child away, telling him how when it came of age it would make a fine host.
One day, Indar and two human-Controllers, Arliss and Eldra, were captured by Andalites. But Eldra had a hidden device that knocked out the three Andalites. The trio each took Andalites as their hosts, and piloted back to the Pool Ship. Indar had never seen Eldra again, but didn't care to. He was reunited with his mate, but eventually, they drifted apart, leading to depression in the Controller, and loneliness.
The information on the Andalite people that he provided to the Yeerk Empire pleased the Council, and he rose up the ranks, eventually achieving Visserhood. More successes allowed him to rise through the Visserial ranks as well, eventually becoming Visser Five. Arliss served under him, but other Yeerks continued to believe Arliss undeserving of an Andalite body. Arliss eventually disappeared; Eldra was not heard from again. To this day, Indar wonders where they are. He continues to serve the Yeerk Empire.
Host
Name: Himuran-Semitur-Thamis
Rank/Nickname: An Abomination
Age: 45
Gender: None | Leans toward male
Birthday: Uncertain | He doesn't celebrate it anyway
Affiliation: Formerly Yeerk
Race: Andalite
Colour: Light Blue
Family: Alloran-Semitur-Corass {Father} | Jahar-Bellari-Girtau {Mother} | Cathra-Bellari-Astaron {Sister}
Appearance:
Standing 6'0" from the very tips of his stalk eyes to the ends of his hooves, Gerlin's course hair is a pale robin's egg blue. He appears young and handsome, and has been considered to be the spitting image of Alloran. He has his mother's violet eyes. There is a scar on his shoulder that hasn't been cured from morphing, and a nip in his ear.
His torso is somewhat muscular, the result of feverish training and body-building. But he still has two thin Andalite arms that are not as strong as that of a normal human. His lower body is well-built by Andalite standards. His legs are long and powerful, especially his back ones. His tail is long and whiplike, very supple. It is tipped with a fine blade, making him the envy of many Andalites. Sharp and curved, it is easy to wield, and deadly to all who face him, and has struck fear in many a Controller.
Personality:
A once-determined young Andalite, Himuran is now broken, a remnant of what he used to be. His desires for making his own name have perished, though Visser Five seems to be achieving them for him, and not in the way he wanted. He still blames himself for what happened. He still hopes to challenge Visser Three tail-to-tail, to seek retribution for his father.
History:
Himuran is the son of Alloran-Semitur-Corass and Jahar-Bellari-Girtau. He was born determined to be a great prince like his father. As a youth, he practiced tail-fighting obsessively, and attended the Academy, working hard to stay on top of everything. He did pretty well, despite being made fun of all the time. He mastered in tailblade-fighting, and was commended for it. When he exited the Academy, he was immediately given a position on the Red Nova.
When his father was captured, he went into depression. Disciplinary problems began to arise; the young aristh was chastised many a time. Eventually he learned, but that wouldn't be his last test. Satesion, a Captain-Prince at the time, continued to take time out of his busy life as a captain to train him; Himuran never felt that he'd be as amazing a tailfighter as him. Finally, he was promoted; he became a Warrior. He was so proud, that he slipped his guard on a mission where they captured three Yeerks. The Yeerks managed to infest all three of them. Himuran, to this day, blames himself for not giving that female human-Controller more of a search...
Roleplay Sample:
Though Hork-Bajir were in short supply, the Yeerks continued to breed and raise them, so that they could have more shock troops. Indar's duty was to make sure that the Hork-Bajir were held still while the Yeerk was placed in their head. This was a young Hork-Bajir. He looked afraid, as he was brought up to them. When he saw the pool, despite his typical Hork-Bajir demeanor, Indar could see that he feared what was in those waters. The Hork-Bajir-Controller had no chance of helping him, however, and he had a duty to the Yeerk Empire. He grabbed one of arm of the Hork-Bajir, and another Controller grabbed the other arm.
The Hork-Bajir's head was dunked into the water. Indar was the one who had to watch for the slimy slug that was his kin to wriggle into his ear canal. When finally, it happened, Indar and the other Yeerk lifted the newly joined Controller. The Hork-Bajir-Controller monotonously turned his head to Indar, and nodded; this meant the blending had been successful.
A wave of sadness came from Kali; his host did not like seeing another of his people being enslaved. Indar consoled his host, a mental pat on the metaphorical head to comfort the Hork-Bajir. <Some day,> he said in his head. <Some day, we will find another way, Kali.>
Little did he know that he'd soon lose Kali, as well as his mate Tarrit...
