Tony stood in the middle of the broken city, tail waving back and forth. He didn't have to hide it anymore, which was amazing for him... but something still didn't feel right.
He couldn't remember anything from before his eighteenth year. Just that he was half alien, and he had to hide his tail, claws, and eyes in public. Well, he used to have to hide them. But now, he was allowed to roam as-is. The only problem was the pants... he had to get them custom-made. Before, he'd just chop off his tail and he wouldn't have to worry about whether or not they fit.
He was still like he had been back then, though. Tall, brawny, freckles here and there across his face. He'd changed his hair back to its natural color; pale blonde. He'd even kept his old fire tatoos. And boy, he was still something to look at... but he'd never managed to find anyone.
He let out a sigh, leaning against the wall of a crumbling building and waiting for something to happen.

Ty was walking down the street, in the destroyed part of the city. Thoughts were racing through his head. He just needed to relax, something he hadn't done in years. Then, he saw someone he hadn't seen before. An alien of some sort?
He walked up to the guy, who seemed to be troubled. "So, looks like I'm not the only one with a lot on his mind, huh?"

Alex had snuck back into the city. He wanted to see what it had become, since the last time he saw it was over seven years ago. It hadn't been very hard: he'd morphed an eagle and flown in. As he landed in an alleyway, he quickly demorphed and then remorphed into himself. <I don't think they'll be expecting me like this,> he thought as he walked out from the alley.
As he walked down the street, Alex quickly realized he was in the destroyed part of town. <Man, David does nothing,> he thought. As he turned the corner, he saw a guy leaning against a wall with a lizard-like tail. But what immediately concerned Alex was that he was talking to Ty. Alex quickly jumped back so as not to be seen, but he couldn't be sure if Ty had seen him or not.

"So, looks like I'm not the only one with a lot on his mind, huh?"
Tony shrugged, chuckling. "S'pose not..." His voice was deep, and he spoke in a southern drawl he had picked up from his childhood in Texas (another of the few things he COULD remember... he was from Texas). "Name's Tony. You in the Brotherhood, too?"

Ty nodded as Tony spoke, noticing some guy that looked familiar, but Ty couldn't quite place him. He seemed to be hiding...
Ty turned his attention back to Tony. "Yeah, as of recently. I was a bud of David's about 20 years ago, but left earth for a while. Just got back, actually..."

Alex listened as the two talked. The other guy, Tony, was obviously from the Brotherhood, and Ty was explaining why he hadn't been around. Alex was sure that Ty had seen him, but since he hadn't said anything or made any indications, maybe he hadn't recognized him. The last time he had seen Alex was 20 years ago, and he'd changed a lot. <Maybe I'm safe,> he thought.
Alex decided to wait and see what would happen. Something could be learned from Ty's conversation with this Tony person. <And if he does find me and recognize me, there's gonna be hell to pay,> he thought

Tony chuckled. "I joined up, about... 19 years ago. They found me wandering in the forest. I had no clue who I was or where I'd came from. And they took me in and named me."
He shrugged. "Of course, David's the type that prolly just did it so he could use me. I'm a bit... above average in some levels." He waved his tail to emphasize and tipped his hat, leaning into the wall a bit harder. "Be nice to know who I really was, though... well, whatever the half of me that isn't human is, it evidentally lives longer then people. Look at me!" He pointed to his face. "I'm 38 and I look 22!"

Ty chuckled a little. "Well," he sighed. "I remember my life. Some of it I wish I could forget....like that day 20 years ago. The war was drawing to a close, and David was rising to power. Scared and confused, I walked out on my girlfriend, leaving nothing but a note, to travel through space with a former rival, Guraff 427.
We spent 20 years beating the crap out of anything and everything fool enough to take us on. Till that one day, we were on this giant green-sanded desert planet called Nyoork, when like 4 of um ambushed us. Guraff didn't make it out alive, and I buried him right there, and returned to Earth.
Luckily, I was accepted back pretty quickly. I'm 39 years old, but still the same lunatic I've always been." He flashed his signature grin, leaning against the wall.

Alex listened as the two talked about their pasts. The other guy, Tony, had an odd past but what Alex was really interested in was what Ty said. "I remember my life. Some of it I wish I could forget....like that day 20 years ago. The war was drawing to a close, and David was rising to power. Scared and confused, I walked out on my girlfriend, leaving nothing but a note, to travel through space with a former rival, Guraff 427.''
<He walked out on Carolyn?> Alex realized, astonished. <Well, he never told me THAT.> Alex thought for a moment, and wondered whether he should stay where he was or actually go up and talk to the two men. <If he didn't recognize me before, maybe he won't at all,> he thought. He decided to wait a little longer, and then he would reveal his presence.

Tony scrunched his nose in as a breeze rolled by, carrying Alex's scent with it. Being a Hasparoon hybrid, he had very dog-like senses, smell being one of his strong suits. He frowned.
"I don' think we're alone."

Ty looked back at Tony. "I noticed. My activities over the past 20 years have made me very alert. I...can't help but think he seems familiar to me....." To Alex, he called, "WHOEVER YOU ARE, COME OUT NOW. WE KNOW YOU'RE THERE." As Ty spoke, he was focusing on Seer....

(OOC: I'M SOO SORRY GUYS FOR NOT POSTIN. I really should be studying, but I saw I hadn't posted in like three weeks, so here it finally is)
Alex quickly realized that he was out of options. He was in his own morph, so he couldn't morph quickly enough to an effective battle morph. Whatever Ty could morph into was worse than his wolf form, so just demorphing was not a good idea. <Damnit!> he mentally swore. Alex came out from behind the corner, hands in the air. "You called?" he said.
(OOC again: Are Alex and Ty friends? I mean, we had that RP on AB where they sorta made up.)

((OOC: I doubt they made up here. They kinda had words in an earlier thread...XD))
Ty blinked as the final changes took place, and he was a nine foot Hork-Bajir. This man looked vaguely familiar, but it couldn't be...could it. Ty held an elbowblade up to his throat. "Identify yourself....or lose your head," he snarled.

<Real or fake?> Alex thought. He quickly realized that Ty would figure it out sooner or later, so he might as well get it out now. Alex cleared his throat and said, "Huh, I thought you'd recognize me by now Ty. I guess some things never change." Alex smirked and said, "If you're so inclined, it's Alex. Alex Silva."

Tony didn't pay much attention as Ty changed. He was used to seeing people morph, especially into creatures like that, so he just shrugged it off.
"If you're so inclined, it's Alex. Alex Silva."
He gave Alex a smile. "Howdy, Alex," he said in his deep southern accent. "Name's Tony." He licked his lips and put his hands in his pockets. Alex didn't look like much of a thread, but, then again... not a lot of people were threats to him.
